Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Waste Operative to join our team. As a Waste Operative, you will be responsible for assisting with waste management and disposal tasks. This is a physically demanding role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Hours: 6.30am to 3.30pm Mon-Thur, Fri 6.30am to 11.30am

Duties:

Collect and transport waste materials to designated areas
Operate machinery such as compactors and balers to process waste
Sort and separate recyclable materials from general waste
Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials according to safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of waste storage areas
Assist with loading and unloading waste containers
Follow established procedures for waste disposal and recycling

Skills:

Mechanical knowledge to operate machinery effectively
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
Attention to detail to ensure proper sorting and disposal of waste materials
Strong work ethic and reliability to consistently meet job requirements
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
