- Design and develop the Linux runtime for Fractile's innovative AI acceleration hardware
- Develop highly-optimised accelerator firmware
- Work with hardware and higher-level software and ML engineers in a highly collaborative hardware-software co-design methodology
- Support and develop more junior colleagues
- Strong experience of the development of Linux device drivers
- A deep understanding of computer architecture and performance optimisation techniques
- First-rate C/C++ skills and solid experience of industry standard development tools and technologies
- An creative and innovative mindset, and a willingness to take ownership and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Maths, Physics, or related degree and 7+ years of industry experience
- Experience of working with GPUs or dedicated machine learning accelerators
- Knowledge of contemporary machine learning techniques and technologies
- Previous experience in a startup or small team environment
