  • Quotient are recruiting for a Department Leader, Planning to join the Supply Chain team based near Penicuik, EH26 0BF. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the translation of a longrange demand plan into a manufacturing resource plan, ensuring resources are planned and scheduled successfully to deliver on our product commitments on time and in full. We are looking for a selfmotivated, enthusiastic individual with an excellent understanding of supply/ demand and constraint/ scenario planning who is focused on both planning and execution. This role is a fulltime permanent position._
  • JOB DESCRIPTION_
  • The main responsibilities will include:_
- _Working as daily operational lead, managing expectations & product milestones throughout the internal Alba by Quotient Supply Chain. _
- _Managing the scheduling, product planning and successful customer delivery of Quotient products for the UK site in line with company sales plan, and scheduled timelines as well as ensuring the necessary materials required for manufacture and R&D purposes are available as needed._
- _Developing capacity models for all functions and activities related to our plan/make/release/ship process. _
- _Leading and supporting a team of Planners with a focus on ensuring customer on time and in full targets are recognized._
- _Review performance against sales budget on a frequent basis, identifying and proposing clear recommendations for improvements in operational efficiency and effectiveness._

  • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED_
- _Educated to Degree level and/or demonstrable experience in an operational leadership role within a GMP regulated environment. Previous experience in the Life Sciences industry is preferred. _
- _Sales operation planning, demand planning/forecasting & ERP resource/master data rationalization is required. _
- _Experience with TROPOS or any other procurement/manufacturing systems._
- _Exceptional organizational and planning skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment._
- _Excellent problem-solving, collaboration and prioritization skills._
