We wish to recruit a Matron to work within our services and to be part of our already established team of outstanding practitioners.

We are looking for a dynamic, energised individual who will be excited to be part of our wider MDT. We want someone with a keen eye and a focus on embedding a cohesive culture around quality and safety.

Someone who puts excellent patient care at the heart of what they do will fit well with our recovery focused ethos.

This role requires you to be part of the developing Nursing strategy which includes a lead role in workforce development, wellbeing and equality and diversity programs.


We need a strong and proven leader who can take responsibility for decisions and will be actively involved in the support and development of the team and will work within the wider network.


We are looking for someone who can communicate and collaborate in a professional manner with a wide spectrum of people, to achieve the best outcomes for patients whilst raising the standard of the service.


Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills are a must for this role as you will be working in environments where creativity on how to approach situations is key.

We will facilitate and enable you use your skills providing support and opportunities for career progression whilst supporting an award winning male low secure unit.

We have welcomed and embraced working with Quality Improvement methodology.

Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust are committed to Quality Improvement (QI) and have paired up with East London Foundation Trust to train and develop our staff in the understating of QI and how to implement this on our wards.

We are currently part of several QI collaboratives which have had significant impact on raising standards and improving safety.
