Senior AWS DevOps Engineer - Fully remote

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen with an exciting AI-driven Pharmatech Company committed to discovering, designing and developing the best possible drugs in the fastest and most effective manner.

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to contributeto our mission to develop better medicines, faster, to people around the world.

You will work as part of a highly skilled, agile team on new and established products using the latest tools and AWS cloud services.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be a leadingmember of a centre of excellence to continuously drive forward our AWS Well-Architected Cloud First strategy.


Role and Responsibilities:


  • Encode and automate the smooth operation of an evergrowing, many account AWS Organization
  • Translate loosely defined requirements into detailed, comprehensive solutions
  • Develop your skills, knowledge and experience of cloud/computing/IT
  • Enjoy working together with fun and highly motivated people

Essential Skills and Experience:


  • 5+ years' experience delivering an AWS Well-Architected many account Organization
  • Expert ability with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CDK, CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Expert ability with GitOps tools and processes such as Bitbucket, GitLab or GitHub
  • Highly motivated with a track record of success and an obsession with improvement and automation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence requirements, behaviour and culture

Package:


  • Circa £75k
