The Head of Research Contracts within Research and Innovation (R&I) is a pivotal appointment for the College, focusing on enabling the delivery of the College's strategic plan and its commitment to challenge-led research.

Reporting to the Director of Research and Innovation, the Head of Research Contracts is a member of the Senior Management Team in R&I and is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the legal support around research and commercialisation.

This includes research related agreements, commercialisation of College research outputs, the implementation and the further development of the College's IP policy and Framework, and the implementation and the further development of Research Contracts' terms of trade and practices.

You will be an experienced Research Contracts professional with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to think and act strategically.

You will have considerable experience of research contract management in a higher education, public sector or commercial setting and the capability to build strong and credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
