- Read and understand technical design drawing specification.
- Product assembly to drawings specification.
- Regularly maintain and clean welding equipment (machines and tools) to ensure their optimal functionality and prevent malfunctions
- Safe use of weld & power / hand equipment
- Ability to consistently weld and fabricate
- Coded welder – Adherence to all HSE Hot Work Safety Systems
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the welding process, such as equipment malfunctions or defects in the welded materials.
- Maintain records
- Perform welding operations using various processes
- Prepare metal components, ensuring they are properly aligned and set up for the welding process.
- Minimum 3 years TIG Weld Experience

Elevation Recruitments Skilled Shop Floor Team are proud to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturing business based in Sheffield. We are currently recruiting for a TIG Welder on a permanent basis.
TIG welder
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
Flexibility to work the following:
8am - 4.30pm
6am - 2.30pm
9am - 6.30pm
You will be expected to work 8am - 4.30pm whilst training.
Rate:
£ £17.00 per hour
Overtime available following probation period.
