Description
Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils with autism, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour within a primary school setting.
Developing and executing individualised support plans tailored to the needs of autistic pupils.
Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and professionals to ensure pupils' requirements are addressed.
Providing training and guidance to staff on optimal approaches for supporting autistic pupils.
Coordinating with external agencies and professionals to secure appropriate support for pupils
Requirements:
Prior experience working with autistic pupils with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
Knowledge of autism and related conditions.
Understanding of strategies for managing challenging behaviour.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues and stakeholders.
