    About the jobMenswear/ Streetwear DesignerMid - Senior roles availableFull TimeBased in Central Manchester 5 days a weekReporting into the Head of design At Rosso and Azzurro we have multiple roles available for Mid- Senior Menswear and Streetwear Designers to join the design department.

    These roles will be working on in-house brands Syna and Lorenzo. The ideal candidate will be an experienced multi-product designer with a strong understanding of streetwear & fashion.

    You will work directly with the Head of Design and the Directors, working on the design process from start to finish.

    The roles require the designer to be organised, creative, innovative, and experienced to execute their ideas to a high standard, whilst also mentoring junior designers.

    Having a good eye for details and under standing current trends within the menswear and streetwear market is important as technical knowledge.

    Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesResearch and development – Compile research and create mood boards to show direction, colour, shapes and current and upcoming trendsIdentify new opportunities for brands across the groupDesign and CAD in line with the brands identityComplete detailed tech packs and update through out development processAssist in fittings, taking notes and updating technical sketchesWorking directly with the Head of Design to ensure all key deadlines are metPreparing colour palettes for seasonal collectionsEnsure overviews of collections are get up to date Completing the approval of lab dips, trims, materials, and prints for finalised productsProven background in multi product, categories include denim, jersey, woven and outerwear Skills & Experience Required:

    Educated in Design (BA, BFA, BS)Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and IllustratorOver 4 years experience within a similar environmentBe able to juggle multiple projects and cope with pressureHelpful, proactive and a team player for the brand groupHave a keen interest in fashion, textiles, and contemporary menswearStrong organisational & communication skills.

    Confident in dealing with external clientsAbility to prioritise, manage multiple deadlinesHave a portfolio demonstrating experience working in several types of product categoriesStrong understanding of garment construction and fit
