    Area Sales Manager

    As part of a successful and growing sales team Ainscough Crane Hire are looking for an experienced, ambitious Sales Manager to cover the Aberdeen area.

    This is an opportunity for somebody that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, within a competitive sales team and has a real desire to exceed targets and progress through the business.

    Whilst the key responsibility for you is to drive Area Sales to achieve annual budgets and to deliver year-on year growth you will also be developing and maintaining relationships with a small portfolio of Managed Account Customers.

    These customers largely based in the area will be covering major projects. This is an ideal opportunity to gain further experience managing framework renewals and building longer term relationships.

    Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities of an Area Sales Manager
    ~ Dealing effectively and promptly with sales leads from across the business.
    Achieving predetermined monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets in line with specific pricing guidelines.
    Providing regular updates and forecasts on pipeline, projects and frameworks to the Regional Sales Manager.
    Education/Knowledge/Experience for an Area Sales Manager
    Prior sales role(s) and proven influencing and negotiation ability.
    Be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of a sales/buying process.

    An understanding of crane hire and the market is helpful but not essential, a technical sales background is preferred.

    IT literate and familiar with Microsoft office products- Particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
    Ability to demonstrate a structured approach to sales planning and presentations.
