- Develop and implement regulatory strategies for new and existing cosmetic products.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documents, including dossiers, safety assessments, and technical files.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations (e.g., FDA, EU, Health Canada, etc.).
- Review and approve product formulations, labels, and marketing materials for regulatory compliance.
- Conduct ingredient safety assessments and risk evaluations.
- Monitor changes in cosmetic regulations and assess their impact on company products.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and external partners as needed.
- Provide regulatory guidance to cross-functional teams, including R&D, Marketing, and Quality Assurance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the cosmetics industry.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic regulations and standards.
- Experience with formulation science and safety assessments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
