    As the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for bringing new products, features, and/or services to market working closely with group functions and specifically the corporate product and sales team. You will need to apply strong, inspirational leadership skills to manage and motivate a marketing team to deliver marketing activities, campaigns, and collaborations, and build customer engagement to increase brand awareness and drive sales.

    The role will require working closely with digital marketing, brand managers, design, social media, copywriters, PR, and executives, to ensure all marketing campaigns are in alignment with the core brand message.

    Responsibilities:

    Functional Leadership

    • Effective structure definition, staff recruitment and development.
    • Management of outsourced agencies and providers.
    • Market research and client segmentation.
    • Oversight of the creative and copy aspects of the company's digital strategy.
    • Engage with key internal stakeholders to develop and continuously review the strategic marketing plan to deliver the specific messaging needed to achieve the company's commercial objectives with the most appropriate channel mix including: PR and conference/event management, Content marketing, Direct Marketing, Web/social channels
    • Develop the strategy and processes to scale the output of content.
    • Contribute to the strategy for pricing, messaging, packaging, promotion and selling of our products and services.
    • Present forecasts to senior management and contributing to success of Marketing as a group.
    • Gain commitment and guide implementation of marketing plans to ensure the delivery of the expected results.
    • Ensure market positioning, proposition and end user messaging is compelling, differentiated and supported by evidence and that this is scaled throughout all internal and external marketing activities.
    • Ensures the corporate marketing program deliverables demonstrate value and ROI and meet client requirements.
    • Develop/promote marketing best practice across the broader marketing group and proactively collaborate to find synergies between marketing plans.
    • Contribute to creation of a consistent tone of voice, messaging and positioning for the overall capabilities.
    • Coordinate internal and external parties to deliver campaigns/activities.

    Brand Advertising and Media:

    • Will be responsible for creating global, integrated advertising campaign strategies to build the Insignia brand and relevant products.
    • Works across regions and functions to drive consistency of overarching strategy and brand affinity across regional programs.
    • Establish and agree marketing strategies by evaluating and utilising opportunities that exist across multiple products and geographies.
    • Establish global and broad-based marketing programs to communicate the brand message as Insignia continues to grow into new markets and launches new products and services.
    • Responsibility for leading Insignia and directing the external agencies to develop global consumer and merchant campaigns. Campaigns should use best in class marketing practices, and explore new innovative marketing approaches, maintaining accountability for business and financial results.
    • Work closely with external PR advisors to influence major international trade and business press and build relationships with key journalists. Ensure that Insignia's views are represented and promoted both proactively and in response.

    Agency Management:

    • Global agency management to driving marketing programs leading contract negotiations and maintenance globally.
    • Search and select partners and elaborate procedures of cooperation with marketing partners and service providers.

    Professional Requirements:

    • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing.
    • Extensive experience leading brand, marketing, advertising and PR functions ideally in the luxury brands/ financial services industries.
    • Extensive experience leading a global marketing strategy and planning ideally in both client and agency side.
    • Exceptional project portfolio management ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
    • Strong financial acumen to ensure P&L development and budget control.
    • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills with the ability to challenge and influence decisions in a matrixed environment.
    • Illustration of ability to drive results to achieve a win/win solution.
    • High level of self-drive and motivation.
    • Management of diverse teams including strategy, execution and creative.
    • Excellent presentation skills and high comfort level presenting to senior executives and large audiences.
    • Experience working across various functional teams and with international clients.
    • Ability to analyze and utilize research to make data-driven decisions.
    • Experience managing strategic agency partners and consultants.
