Job Title: Senior Bioanalytical Validation Scientist

Salary: Highly competitive basic with 10% bonus & benefits

Location: Liverpool

SRG is working with a leading global pharmaceutical company who require a Senior Bioanalytical Scientist to join their AS&T team. You will be responsible for working on several analytical and validation projects in this fast-paced role.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Capillary Electrophoresis, as well as ELISA and SDS-PAGE experience. GMP experience is essential. Key requirements include experience with method development and validation.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Leads and develops a strategy, plans and manages projects for method development or improvement as identified.
• Performs tests in accordance with established methods and properly documents test results.
• Evaluates performance of analytical instruments and equipment and recommends new acquisition or replacements initiatives.
• Design work plans/projects with a compliance development mindset i.e., GMP adherence.
• Provides guidance/mentorship/training to other lab staff as required.

You ideally have:

• A BSc in Chemistry of Biochemistry with several years' experience working in the lab (MSc and PhD desirable)
• A recognized expert in Analytical and Biological methods (CE, ELISA, SDS-PAGE)
• Experience of working in pharmaceuticals, particularly biologics is advantageous.
• Experience of assay development and validation essential.
• Experience working to GMP essential.
