Description
Our client based in Witham, Essex are currently recruiting for an experienced
Accounts Supervisor.

Working within a busy and dynamic accounts team whereby you will be responsible for the accounting and financial procedures for the purchase ledger.

You will be required to manage two other staff and be ultimately responsible to the Accounts Manager.


This is an ideal role for anyone who is looking for a well-rounded accounts role within a reputable & local company.


  • Type: Permanent
  • Location: Witham
  • Hours: Monday
  • Friday 8:00am5:00pm
  • Pay: £32,000 £40,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Assignment Details

  • Overseeing the production of the sales and purchase ledger.
  • Checking purchase invoices against CSV sheets
  • Reconciling bank statements.
  • Arranging daily payments
  • Chasing operators for Invoices.
  • Working with different currencies GBP, EUR & USD
  • Working closely with the Accounts manager and team on a daytoday basis

Skills Required:


  • Current Experience working with SAGE 50 is essential, purchases & sales ledger
  • Accounting qualifications
  • Experience working within a similar position
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Analytically minded
  • Great team player
