    What you will enjoy doing
  • You will provide timely, accurate, practical and professional SHEQ support to line management and site personnel across all aspects of the Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) agenda
  • You will assist the achievement of the Global policy not to harm people or the environment is required. The objective is to supply products and services to meet our commitments to customers, minimise environmental waste, prevent incidents and ill-health wherever possible, otherwise to minimise their impact, learn and share any lessons
  • The role is fully focused on the effective and sustainable implementation of SHEQ behaviours and SHEQ management systems ( policy, standards, procedures, tools and processes) and managing key SHEQ improvement programmes
  • You will involves the active review of performance against requirements of the SHEQ management system and effectively executing improvements
  • Also, you will facilitate SHEQ related communications and training
  • You will provide support for requirements under COMAH, and the local implementation of effective process safety competence
  • Furthermore, you will provide visible leadership of the SHEQ agenda including participating and improving behavioural safety programmes
  • And lastly, you will provide support during audits and interventions. Carrying out local site audits and management of actions
  • What makes you great

  • You have experience managing or operating under an effective and comprehensive SHEQ management system in an industrial setting
  • You are holding, or willing to obtain, NEBOSH Diploma and Level 2 assessor competence
  • Also, you have a grounding in quality management principles is required
  • You have experience of food safety regulations, HACCP, GMP and related management system
  • You must have a high level of personal Integrity, be able to understand issues from first principles and take an independent view in providing advice
  • And lastly, it is desirable to have experience of working in a Major Accident Hazard Industry and Transport operations, Green belt six sigma, Chartered Quality Institute unit "Quality Management - level 3"
