This is a full-time, permanent position for a Laser Welding Demonstrator operating within the UK, mainly in the Midlands and North of England.

The position is predominantly outbound using our mobile demonstration vehicle which is based out of our Stafford showroom.

The role can also include some inbound demonstrations at our Stafford showroom as well as supporting customers in setting up the equipment along with ongoing support.

While this is not a sales role, it is an important customer facing role which requires a professional approach and a general understanding of customer requirements.

With a large showroom in Stafford, we are industry specialists in the supply of the latest machinery technology including press brakes, guillotines, folding machines, laser cutting machines, laser welding machines and plasma cutting machines as well as servicing the industry with more conventional machinery such as bandsaws, steelworkers, drills, lathes, mills and many other products.

Bison Machinery have a very strong focus on customer service including a dedicated service team for ongoing machinery support in the field.

To support our sales team with outbound demonstrations of Laser Welding Machines, we are looking to recruit a Laser Welding Demonstrator.

Job requirements include driving our mobile demonstration vehicle to customer sites and providing full technical demonstrations of the equipment in order to support the sales process.

Demonstrations will mainly be by appointment, which will be pre-booked by the sales team.

The role will include answering customer questions, being aware of any other opportunities and providing feedback to the sales team.

Additionally, the role may include post sale support of the laser welding machine and associated equipment.

Drive mobile demonstration van to customer sites

• Perform laser welding demonstrations at customer sites and in the showroom
• Answer basic pricing questions from the customer, referring back to the sales team as required
• Provide detailed feedback of the demonstration and any customer discussions to the sales team
• Proactively discuss any other customer requirements for machinery, consumables or service and refer back to the sales team
• Provide post-sales support to customers including setting up the equipment and ongoing trouble shooting
• Attend any training courses provided
• Experience of arc welding or other welding process
• A current clean driving licence for a car/van
