Why Join Hereford?
Embedding HEINEKEN Herefordshire as the Global Home of Cider is a challenge we all embrace.

Our historic Herefordshire heartland is home to the world's largest Cider production site, our cider mill at Ledbury and more than 5,000 acres of orchards.

We also partner with local growers as we use more tha 20% of all apples grown in the UK to make our celebrated cider brands.

From Strongbow and Bulmers to Old Mout, a spirit of innovation inspires our craft - and with a string of new styles and flavours to enjoy including our new brand Inchs and our summer favourite Strongbow Rosé, our future is one you'll want to be part of.

What's the role?

This is a great role for an experienced Planner to get their teeth into, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager, who you'll need to work closely with as this role provides cover for when they are on leave, so not just your standard planner role.

This role will provide you with a good blend of leadership growth and technical ability; you will be an integral part of the operational team ensuring that production schedules are met.

This will be achieved through scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure HEINEKEN assets in the Packaging department meet performance targets and comply with statutory requirements and HEINEKEN standards.

What are we looking for?

We need a planner with a recognized engineering apprenticeship with HNC / HND or an engineering degree, ideally safety qualifications too (IOSH / NEBOSH), and being a current colleague you should be able to come in and hit the ground running with the way we work but we will offer upskilling if you haven't had the direct experience in that area and develop your skills and knowledge in LEAN methodology.

If you have a positive outlook with a continuous improvement mindset and solid experience of modern planned maintenance techniques and Computerised Maintenance Methodology (CMM) systems, then we think this could be a great next step in your career.

  • Caring for people & the planet is one of our core values and we understand that each of our colleagues' needs and circumstances are different. This is why we have a smarter working policy in place which includes access to hybrid working, flexible start and finish times and condensed hours, to name a few._
