Day Assistant Producer - This Morning

6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Studio/Office Based, London
Do you have an abundance of ideas for TV programme content? Do you possess strong creative and editorial judgement and thrive on the buzz of working within a live broadcasting environment?

If the answer is 'yes', we have a fantastic opportunity to join our team on This Morning as an Assistant Producer.

The show provides a broad mixture of content across current affairs, entertainment news and consumer issues. We are dedicated to providing an entertaining format that informs and advises our viewers. The role of Assistant Producer is an opportunity to work with the senior team to generate original programme ideas.

It is also an opportunity to bring new ideas to television and to work innovatively across the functions within our studios.

You will be responsible for idea generation and then taking ideas from the planning stages to production, helping to create a balanced show.

Ideally you will have a journalistic background, gallery experience and worked in live daytime television. You must have an understanding of compliance guidelines and OFCOM regulations.

You must also have a flexible approach to work as you will be working to a shift pattern which will include weekends and bank holidays on occasion.
