MVP Recruitment is an established recruitment firm working with many of the top financial firms in the industry nationwide.

Our client is a highly successful and award-winning IFA business based in Central London. They are looking to bring on an Employee Benefits consultant to join their business.

The incoming individual would be responsible for retaining and developing longterm relationships through quality of advice and servicing with a portfolio of existing Workplace Pension, Group Risk and Health & Wellbeing clients.

The consultant would also be responsible for delivering high quality service and workplace pension adviceto individual scheme members and guidance to Employee Benefits clients and their employees.

This role offers up to £60,000/Annum plus team bonus and a comprehensive benefits package DOE.


Responsibilities

  • This is a client facing position. The primary role is to retain and develop long term relationships through quality of advice and service with a portfolio of existing Workplace Pension, Group Risk and Health & Wellbeing clients.
  • Look for and deal with new business enquiries and identify referral opportunities to Wealth Management and other internal teams
  • To promote the value of employee benefit schemes to existing corporate clients and their employees by understanding their needs, communicating effectively, providing consultation on the structure and suitability of their benefits, and negotiating pricing.
  • Responsible for delivering high quality service and workplace pension advice to individual scheme members and guidance to all Employee Benefits clients and their employees
  • Be responsible for hosting financial wellbeing and benefit presentations inperson and remotely
  • Arrange and attend meetings with members as well as responding to ongoing member queries regarding their benefit schemes.
  • Work with the Employee Benefits Director to develop the overall proposition.
  • Stay up to date with employee benefit trends in the industry, monitor market developments and assist with the identification of revenue generation opportunities for existing and prospective clients.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience working within a related employee benefits consulting role
  • Strong technical knowledge in connection to workplace pensions and automatic enrolment with a working knowledge of group risk, healthcare, business protection as well as the wider spectrum of other employee benefits.
  • CII Diploma (Level 4) or equivalent with a Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) allowing you to provide regulated advice for our existing corporate pension clients.
  • Confident presentation skills, and the ability to engage with all levels of staff at client companies, from senior directors to the most junior levels, is essential.
  • Ability to consult, analyse and communicate on employee benefit related products.
  • A desire to provide friendly and quality advice and service to our clients and their employees.
  • Conduct onetoone advice meetings with employees regarding their workplace pension scheme and employee benefits (if applicable).
  • To be able to explain complex financial jargon in plain English.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral and digital e.g., Microsoft Teams)
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage own workload, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Able to work effectively in a team, communicating with colleagues.
  • Ability to identify issues or challenges and proactively solve them.
