The ASOS Media Group team has grown significantly over the last few years working directly with our partner brands, collaborating with ASOS's design, creative, fashion, production and commercial retail teams to implement impactful, effective and strategic marketing campaigns on and off ASOS's owned and operated properties.


Job Description:

Maternity cover until February 2024.

The Production and Project Management Lead is an integral senior role within AMG.

You will need to lead from the front, motivate, inspire and set key processes and ways of working for the department.


You will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, have a proven track record of producing content and project managing large scale projects, as well as overseeing the implementation and adoption of new operational tech systems.

Must be exceptional at budgeting/forecasting, resourcing and communicating at a senior level; as well as being motivated, organised, analytical, pro-active and results driven.


The Production and Project Management Lead needs to balance creative vision, with clear business objectivity and the ability to manage a variety of internal and external interests to generate the best outcome for all parties - whilst line managing a growing team.

You will be overseeing the delivery of all branded campaigns alongside the roll out and implementation of new systems and processes to further drive efficiencies and profitability for the department.

You will need to be good at building strong relationships with internal departments and agencies, love problem solving and juggling projects in an extremely fast-paced environment.


What you'll be doing...

  • Managing, coaching and mentoring a team of Producers and Project Managers to deliver over 300 supplier brand campaigns a year. It is essential that you are supportive and motivational.
  • Working alongside the Head of Marketing Operations and AMG Senior Leadership Team on department strategy and business goals.
  • Ownership of the AMG project pipeline. Ensuring that all campaigns are briefed, resourced, and delivered on time, within budget and appropriate against our strategic objectives.
  • Leading on all processes that keep the department functioning and moving in an efficient and effective way. Striving to constantly improve the planning and production processes, making recommendations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness is maintained at the highest level.
  • Liaising with senior stakeholders across the wider Marketing Department, ASOS Studios and Tech teams to define and improve ways of working alongside being an ambassador for AMG, sharing and obtaining crossplatform knowledge around the business.
  • Overseeing the implementation of batch asset creation and creative templating across a fastevolving display ad proposition. Leading on all processes that ladder into the wider marketing function and supporting technologies.
  • Overseeing creative production and the delivery of creative assets across all campaigns. This can include, but not limited to digital assets and display ads, web hubs, events big and small, still life shoots, model shoots, moving image shoots, social assets, paid social assets and influencerled content.
  • Producing scope of work documents, project delivery plans, timelines and budgets and managing those across the business stakeholders.
  • Working alongside Partnership Managers you will be clientfacing, attending pitches where necessary, following up with clients on their ways of working and chairing status meetings with clients. You will also ensure that the PP team are completing client servicing to a high standard.
  • Tracking, forecasting, and managing the department's annual budget.
  • Leading the ongoing development of key systems for the department including Salesforce, Storyteq, ITG Workflow and Criteo. This includes overseeing improvements and updates, wider team adoption and any required integrations with other tech projects.
