    The Role

    We are re-shaping Technology to deliver a new vivid vision for Technology in Carnival UK by 2025. To enable the business to grow, evolve and transform from a traditional legacy estate, we are taking our strategic and practical delivery experience to help the business innovate through the application of leading digital technologies and agile methodologies.

    As part of this we are looking to welcome a Product Manager within our Fleet based Technology team to drive the strategic development and implementation of predominantly, our onboard revenue and passenger management products and services.

    Underpinned by our mission to create Unforgettable Holiday Happiness for our guests, this role enables user friendly technology solutions, taking these critical services through their full life cycle from design, test, implementation, and deployment. We are looking for a Product Manager ideally with exposures within Customer/Hospitality centric technologies to support our mission.

    You will

    • Manage the full product life cycle to ensure that customer/user needs are met and that financial and other targets are achieved. Selecting, adopting and adapting the appropriate product development and implementation methods, tools, and techniques.
    • Analyse market and/or user research, feedback, expert opinion and usage data to understand needs and opportunities. Developing product propositions and determining product positioning and variants for different customer and user segments.
    • Prioritise product and service requirements, developing product roadmaps and owning the product backlog.
    • Oversee user testing and directing communications and training planning. Anticipating changes in user needs. Overseeing products, creating product retirement and transitioning plans.
    • Oversee the implementation of products to the business including engagement with the shore and shipboard teams, as well as vendor management .

    Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK06 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis.

    This role is Hybrid with 3 days per week from our Southampton office, with a whole team collaboration day every Wednesday. Due to the nature of our Product services being Fleet based, this role does require occasional international travel to our ships, and sometimes this can include evening and weekend working.

    About You

    Fresh ideas and different perspectives are what excite us most and help us to succeed. Alongside bringing these to the role, youll also need:

    • Previous background as Product Manager within Technology services for a complex, matrix organisation, a Customer service or Hospitality Background would be advantageous but not essential
    • Experience and certification in Agile Methodologies
    • Excellent leadership skills, not only managing direct reports but leading the wider business through complex changes and processes
    • Flexibility to occasionally travel internationally
