Description

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their well-established production facility based in Newquay.

Salary:
£28,000 - £34,000 per annum + bonus (depending on experience)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 07:4- 16:15, Monday to Friday

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, the purpose of the role will be to:

Provide preventative & reactive mechanical maintenance
Work with company CMMS Maintain mechanical maintenance PM's & schedule Work with the Engineering Manager to ensure activities comply with relevant standards and legislation Support Capital projects and installation work
Previous experience within a mechanical engineering role Experience in the FMCG/Manufacturing industry
Formal mechanical engineering qualifications (minimum City & Guilds or equivalent)
A safetyfirst attitude

An effective communication style
