Lonestar Fasteners Hydrobolt Ltd - a leading API 20E, 20F BSL-2/3 manufacturer and supplier of high-performance and precision engineered fasteners using materials such as stainless steel and exotic metals to a multitude of global organisations.

CNC Setter/Operator (Days)

Key Responsibilities

Setting and operating fanuc controlled lathes safely and efficiently.
Ability to set and operate CNC machine unsupervised.
General CNC machine set up and trouble shooting.
Able to read and edit programmes.
Carry out inprocess inspection using handheld gauges, micrometers and verniers.
Producing high volume batches and oneoff precision components, working to tight tolerances.

The successful applicant will have:
-

Detailed understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, work holding and cutting methods.
A minimum of 3 years CNC manufacturing experience.
Ability to implement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Fasteners experience would be advantageous, but not essential.

Hours of work will be 40 per week, Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm with one 30 minutes' unpaid break and two 15 minutes paid break each day and Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm with one 30 minutes' unpaid break.

Basic rate of pay £14.50 per hour.
