Senior Training Consultant.


Grade:
B2.


Purpose of the Job:


To coordinate and facilitate all aspects of external training delivery in support of the of the Technical Training Service Team.

To act as the focal point of contact for all training delegates and clients for internal and external training courses.

To conduct training administration duties. To assist with development of the wider training delivery service and to support the Training Services team as required.


Main Duties of the Jobholder including, but not limited to:

  • Collaborating and liaising with and acting as a point-of-contact for internal and external clients.
  • Scheduling of training courses.
  • Booking of training venues ensuring they are appropriately equipped and configured.
  • Monitoring and accepting bookings.
  • Arranging hospitality for training courses and workshops.
  • Monitoring and ensuring Trainers are booked, available and aligned with client requirements, and cover is available in the event of unavailability.
  • Preparation and dissemination of training materials and resources (e.g., trainers and trainee notes, feedback forms).
  • Facilitation of the day to day running of training courses (facilities, hospitality, IT access, etc).
  • Resolving issues as they arise.
  • Maintenance of training records and data integrity.
  • Reporting of trainee attendance and nonattendance to clients.
  • Responsible for the scheduling, attendance and reporting at client meetings to provide updates on training delivery activities. Creation of meeting Minutes.
  • Management, collation and appropriate action on course feedback.
  • Ensuring training course information resources are fully up to date at all times (e.g. booking processes, training website, training materials).
  • Development and maintenance of governance, assurance and working procedures and processes.

  • Build relationships internally and externally with Project Managers, Trainers, Clients, and team coworkers.
