This well-established PR agency has big ambitions, they currently work some exciting tech, data and sustainability clients and this role is pivotal to their continued growth.

Established in 2003, they work with data centre and digital infrastructure businessesto disrupt, transform, and accelerate their market position. You'll be instrumental in developing strategic operational plans across a portfolio of clients. You'll be working with a great team, a business with real family values at the core of their day-to-dayoperations.

You'll be working with the Senior Account Directorsupporting some of the world's most innovative companies.

As Account Manager you'll play a key role in managing a portfolio of key clients, including startups, scale ups, resellers and Fortune 500 businesses.

You will be an exceptional writer, with strong organisational skills who can demonstrate the interpersonal skills that allow us to build relationships with clients, tech journalists and other sources of influence.

Role


As PR Account Manager, you will be working across AI, data centres, software systems, renewables, and sustainable technologies industry sectors.

You will develop and create strategic operational plans, briefing creatives to produce media assets, be an expertat copywriting and thought leadership content, and have a proven track record in both media relations and exceptional campaign management.

You will be an exceptional writer, with strong organisational skills who can demonstrate the interpersonal skills thatallow us to build relationships with clients, tech journalists and other sources of influence.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain a high level of performance on account deliverables.
  • Ensure sound planning, good service and a solid client/agency relationship.
  • Maintain open and complete communications of client issues with management.
  • Maintain a general analysis of competitors in our market.
  • Execute duties and assignments as directed in compliance with objectives, KPIs and budgets.
  • The ability to plan and execute on campaigns at a senior level.
  • A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects.
  • Effective team management capabilities.
  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
  • Reports upwards and escalates issues as required.
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints.
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques including digital platforms.
  • A relevant graduate degree in PR, Marketing or Digital Marketing, Business, or Media and Communications is welcomed, but not essential.
  • Help to develop and follow agency processes to ensure efficient client delivery.
  • Contribute to the business and growth strategy.
  • Overall growth and development of accounts
  • Help to define and to meet profit goals on each account.
  • Ensure the timely development and execution of plans, campaigns, and projects to assure earnings, growth, and profit goals are achieved.
  • Plan, develop and defend budget recommendations, work goals and measurements to provide both quality and profitable service to clients.

Essential Skills:


  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in professional client relationship management, either in an agency or inhouse.
  • A background in B2B technology, IT and martech is preferred but not essential.
  • Qualifications from the PRCA, CIPR, or Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), are also welcomed as an alternative to a degree or at postgraduate level.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to work strategically
  • Excellent networking & relationship development skills
