Requirements:
- Management CPC / OLAT qualification (desired but not essential)
- Previous experience in logistics operations and management
- Ability to demonstrate coping in challenging situations
- Experience in warehouse or distribution environment management
- Effective communication and team management skills
- IT literate with knowledge of WMS systems
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety, HR legislation, and best practices
Responsibilities:
- Advising/teaching staff on safe and proper operating procedures
- Maintaining accurate staff and vehicle records
- Assessing and providing direct support for the warehouse operation
- Ensuring compliance of all fleet and driver records with DVSA regulations
- Managing staff performance, development, disciplinary, and grievance handling
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required
