This role is to increase the understanding of Responsible Business through improved performance management, enhancing efficiency and transparency in both our internal and external reporting.
Key Accountabilities:
Working with the Chief Sustainability Officer, you'll develop the annual Sustainability Performance Contract, ensuring alignment with the Strategy & External Affairs Performance Contract.
You'll track performance and regularly report on progress, and coordinate other forms of reporting e.g., the monthly CEO report on Sustainability.
By holding a quantitative Group view of the Responsible Business Charter (RBC) and analysis - presented on a quarterly basis to all governance groups - and ensuring regular engagement with the business and functions, you'll coordinate the response to the UN Global Compact Communication of Progress external disclosure.
You'll also be responsible for effective governance required to manage successful delivery of the RBC including maintaining trackers, coordinating agendas, establishing deadlines, drafting and submission of papers to the Board and employee communications.
About You:
You've got proven experience in delivering group-wide projects and building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, understanding the importance of clear communications.
You have a background in reporting processes, governance practices and policies - and if this is within Sustainability or similar, it would be very well regarded.
An understanding of the utilities sector and relevant internal/ external influences (such as governmental, regulatory, NGOs, communities, employee relations, media, agencies, industry bodies), again would be beneficial.
You're pro-active, driven and resourceful, can oversee budgets and financial tracking, are strong with data management and analysis, are able to meet right deadlines, and work well under pressure at busy reporting times.

Further Information:
We offer a hybrid and flexible working approach, a mix of office working from our Warwick office (1-2 days per week) and the rest home working - this role requires flexibility to meet business needs, at key collaboration points across the year office attendance may increase, and there may be some travel to London.
