Senior Bookkeeper
The successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of bookkeeping duties for approximately 90 clients including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations and VAT returns.
Duties
- Responsible for mentoring existing team of 4 bookkeepers to develop their bookkeeping skills
- Entering sales and expense invoices experience with Quickbooks and Xero is desirable
- Reconciling bank statements
- Preparing VAT returns for the Accountant to review and submit
- Processing monthly payroll for clients
- Assisting the Accountant to prepare Annual Accounts, Corporation Tax Returns and Confirmation Statements (training and coaching will be provided as required)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Bookkeeping role
- Excellent Excel skills
- Attention to detail
- High degree of autonomy will be required to lead the team when the Accountant/Managing Director are not in office
