    Head of Supply Chain & Operations
    Location : North West England / Cumbria

    Our client is a successful, privately owned business and one of the UK's leading homeware omni-channel retailers. With over 50 years' experience, it has developed a collection of unrivalled products for all the consumer's homeware needs.

    Through their purpose built distribution centre and established logistics partners, their focus is to deliver exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint.

    To support their continued business growth strategy, they seek an experienced Head of Supply Chain & Operations to join the senior leadership team. This individual will bring relevant and new ideas to enhance existing systems and processes across the supply chain.

    The Role

    • Reporting to the Chief Financial & Operations Officer, you will set the vision and strategic direction for supply chain; lead, inspire and motivate, your team to deliver key departmental goals in support of the ambitious growth plans. Champion and deliver an ethos focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
    • Drive business profitability by owning and being accountable for the supply chain budget, costs whilst taking a holistic view of the omni channel P&L and wider business profitability.
    • Work closely with other functions to develop and implement plans for improving and enhancing the operations infrastructure of systems, processes and people required to enable efficiency, creativity and growth.

    The Person

    • You will be an end-to-end supply chain professional with extensive experience in managing warehouse, supply chain and logistics.
    • Proven experience of developing and articulating a strategic plan for a supply chain team as well as translating it into an executable operational roadmap.
    • Experience of leading and developing a team to deliver against the plan whilst leading and supporting change in a dynamic and fast paced business.
