- Acting as a lead practitioner for EAL working under the direction of the AHT SENDCo.
- Leading EAL withdrawal lessons.
- Managing EAL resources (Flash Academy)
- Developing EAL provision
- Assessing language acquisitions
- Maintaining the Provision Map for EAL
- Supporting the whole school Lexia Programme
- Providing CPD for TA's
- Experience in teaching EAL in KS3 and KS4 (Key stage 3and 4).
- Must have the relevant qualification: HLTA or QTS / ECT's (formerly NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication skills.
- Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
- Previous EAL Teacher/support experience.
- Competitive salary- Day rate of £100 to £150 (dependant on experience) which equates to £19,500 to £29,000 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year
- The option of PAYE or Umbrella
- Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 14.36% of your day rate
