We provide a comprehensive resourcing service for all staff groups across 3 acute Hospital sites.

Our mission is to provide the very best care for every patient every day and we are proud to be a part of that journey.

The Recruitment Office is a fast paced, busy environment with regular visitors from both staff and the general public.

You will be responsible for the on-boarding of new recruits from point of offer, through the various stages of pre-employment checks, to setting them up on payroll and arranging induction.

We provide a very personalised service and excellent customer service and administrations skills are essential.


We recruit on average 100 new joiners per month and it is vital you provide and efficient and proactive service to ensure our time to hire remains at a minimum.

We are a friendly well established team, we work extremely well together and we would like you to join us


There has never been a more exciting time to join West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Major redevelopment works are planned as part of the New Hospital Programme.

These will be most dramatic at Watford General Hospital where up to 90% of buildings will be new.


The trust has recently gained 'teaching hospital' status which reflects the dedicated work of many teams and individuals who have set the standard for delivering high quality training, learning and education at all levels of the workforce.

You will be exposed to highly confidential information and must have an excellent understanding of data protection within the work place.


You must be skilled in the use of outlook, excel and word and be confident to use these programmes daily.

You should be organised, methodical and have the ability to multitask and proactively manage your workload.


You will also be supporting a variety of HR task include contract renewal, staff changes, accommodation queries and general day to day contact.

We cover the entire Trust and recruitment all roles clinical and non-clinical, Director level and Medical.
