Meraki Talent are delighted to be exclusively engaged on the role of Finance Business Partner for a market leading business based in Edinburgh.

The role is offering up to £47,000 per annum + bonus + benefits.
The Company

The business is an award-winning, market leader which prides itself on providing an outstanding client service, maintaining high employee satisfaction, and utilising data to drive improvements in service delivery.

It is now looking to recruit a Finance BusinessPartner to narrow the gap between finance and key business support areas; with the premise of driving operational excellence and business performance.

The Role

The role will report into the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and will partner with both the senior management team and key business support areas including IT, HR, and Ops.

Moreover, you will have responsibility for managing a small team of analysts(previous management experience is not required).
You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor on financial matters
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business planning and decision making
Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and budgeting processes
Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities, making recommendations for improvement
Lead financial planning and analysis for business initiatives and strategic projects
Support the development and delivery of key performance indicators to drive business performance
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to support decision making
Develop and implement financial controls and processes to improve financial governance

Requirements:

Experience of working in a finance business partner, management accounting or financial planning & analysis role

An accountancy qualification

ACCA, CIMA, CA, ACA etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
A selfstarter with a proactive attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working with large datasets and complex financial systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
A willingness to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment

On Offer
The role of Finance Business Partner is offering the following package:

Up to £47,000 per annum
Performance bonus 15%
Pension up to 14%
