Meraki Talent are delighted to be exclusively engaged on the role of Finance Business Partner for a market leading business based in Edinburgh.
The role is offering up to £47,000 per annum + bonus + benefits.The Company
The business is an award-winning, market leader which prides itself on providing an outstanding client service, maintaining high employee satisfaction, and utilising data to drive improvements in service delivery.
It is now looking to recruit a Finance BusinessPartner to narrow the gap between finance and key business support areas; with the premise of driving operational excellence and business performance.
The RoleThe role will report into the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and will partner with both the senior management team and key business support areas including IT, HR, and Ops.
Moreover, you will have responsibility for managing a small team of analysts(previous management experience is not required).You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor on financial matters
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business planning and decision making
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and budgeting processes
- Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities, making recommendations for improvement
- Lead financial planning and analysis for business initiatives and strategic projects
- Support the development and delivery of key performance indicators to drive business performance
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to support decision making
- Develop and implement financial controls and processes to improve financial governance
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a finance business partner, management accounting or financial planning & analysis role
- An accountancy qualification
- ACCA, CIMA, CA, ACA etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- A selfstarter with a proactive attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with large datasets and complex financial systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
- A willingness to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
The role of Finance Business Partner is offering the following package:
- Up to £47,000 per annum
- Performance bonus 15%
- Pension up to 14%
