Glasgow - Hybrid**We're looking for a Lead Developer with experience of working with Service Oriented Architectures developed with Java and Spring Boot, who is passionate about working in agile environments.


Essential Skills

  • Experience of working with and building Java and Spring Boot based microservices
  • Experience of working with public cloud technologies (i.e. AWS, Azure)
  • Experience of TDD and Unit-Test tooling
  • Experience of leading development teams within Government projects to deliver/enhance public facing services
  • Familiar with JavaScript and bestpractice approaches
  • Demonstrable experience in mentoring and conducting knowledge transfer to junior permanent inhouse staff

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of working with TypeScript
  • Experience of working with MariaDB or MySQL
  • Experience with CentOS based shell scripting
  • Experience with Government security control requirements
  • BPML and Business Process tooling
  • Experience of working with Terraform scripts
