Mecc Alte UK manufacture a wide range of industrial alternators from it's plant in Oakham, working closely with its parent company based in Italy and its clients/customers to ensure top quality products are delivered throughout the product lifecycle.

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Financial Analyst with minimum 2 years experience and a Graduate in Accounting and Finance degree or similar.

The candidate should preferably have SAP systems knowledge/experience also, but not essential.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Analyst will support in Manufacturing Cost Accounting activities, specifically product components and stock inventory analysis and take care of the periodic reporting:

• Review and maintenance of the industrial accounting system so that it is consistent with business trends;
• Over/under analysis.
• Support in processing of management reports , yeartodate variance analysis, budgets, forecasts;
• Analysis of variances and causes, also through consultation with the various company functions;
• Presentation of closure data to the management and explanation of the main impacts.
• Monitoring of key company KPIs and reporting of financial data
• Supporting MIS (manufacturing information system) projects in order to introduce new and timely measures to safeguard the efficiency of information processes
• Adaptation of the manufacturing cost accounting model and related company policies to changing business dynamics
• Supporting Senior management in the drafting of the budgets
• Periodic analysis and presentation of deviations from the budget.

Ensures the elaboration of analyses useful for:

• Evaluation of the impact of new investments and technological innovation
• Experience in industrial management control within manufacturing industry, using data from the SAP system (or similar), with a focus on profitability analysis;

-experience of analysis of production components and stock inventory analysis essential
- financial analysis experience in Manufacturing industry (i.e. electro-mechanical engineering)

• Familiarity with the SAP CO (controlling) module in engineering production environment;
• Familiarity with the use of SAP in a "factory" where there are production orders, recipes (Bill of Materials), man and machine hours per batch (routings), variance analysis;

- previous experience in engineering industry ideal but will consider candidates from food manufacturing who have had exposure to production processing costing analysis

There is no hybrid working option as we require the candidate to be on site working closely with departments.
