Our Finance Business Partners work proactively with the Divisional Head of Finance and other key stakeholders to support and develop working relationships between the Finance function and the business. This will include provision of accurate, valuable and innovative commercial financial advice to support strategic and operational decision making, whilst ensuring that the financial performance of the firm is optimised. About the role To achieve this they must be passionate about driving growth and business performance, as well as identifying areas where processes can be improved - and delivering those improvements whilst demonstrating strong commercial acumen.
    • Work with the Divisional Head of Finance to obtain a detailed understanding of performance drivers within a practice area and more broadly across the division, supporting the divisional strategy and transformation.
    • Achieving effective forecasting, in order to support the monthly, full year and multi-year planning processes
    • Identifying risks, opportunities and other operational insights and;Contributing to forward looking, large scale and/or high-impact commercial and investment decisions.
    • Working with Group Finance, understand and monitor working capital requirements, with a particular focus on lock-up (WIP and debtor) performance.
    • Communicate results to senior leaders within the business, providing insight and analysis that enables them to understand the performance of their areas and actions that can be taken to improve performance.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement in respect of the impact and understanding of financial reporting and KPIs on business performance.
    About you Ideally you will have the below attributes
    • A graduate qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), preferably with experience of business partnering in an international business.
    • Strong communication skills and demonstrable experience of building robust relationships.
    • A high level of commercial and strategic acumen, and the ability to educate and support the business to understand their financial performance.
    • Experience in an international business and familiarity with the challenges of managing multi-country financial reporting and systems, as well as different cultures.
    • Experience of process change and business transformation.
