Please be aware the expectation for this role is office attendance at least 3 days per week.

Position Summary


Here at Nestlé we have a fantastic opportunity for a focused individual to join the Customer Solutions Team based in our Nestle House York Office, with the opportunity to work from home part of the time.

As a Claims Management Specialist you will help to execute the operational Customer Solutions activities, such as customer Claims and Deduction analysis, categorisation and assignment.


You will provide support to our 'Top 12' customers such as Amazon, ASDA and Tesco by bringing your exceptional customer service skills and experience working in a KPI process driven environment.

Working closely with cross functional teams such as Sales, Supply chain as well as supporting the outsourced Claims team based in Lisbon.

A day in the life of a Claims Specialist
You will work with a friendly and supportive team providing timely and accurate processing of customer invoice queries, the key responsibilities will include:

  • Claims and Deductions management using SAP accounting system
  • reception, registering, assignment and categorisation of all customer claims and deduction raised by customers and/or internally by Nestle.
  • Presentation of findings both online and facetoface.
  • Close working relationship with Nestle outsourced teams in Lisbon & Bangalore.

What will make you successful?

  • Strong numerical and planning competencies with a good attention to detail.
  • Having excellent systems knowledge including advanced Excel functionality and ideally possessing SAP experience.
  • Previous account receivable experience would be desirable but not essential.
