Our mission is todemocratise wealth management by empowering financial planners andadvisors to focus more client relationships over administrativetasks. Our product is a transcription tool built specifically forthe wealth industry that automatically crafts draft clientfollowups andletters.

Backed by atoptier venture capital firm alongside seasoned fintech angelinvestors our cofounders bring extensive fintech and wealthtechexperience supported by a talented and agileteam.

Tasks

Asa developer you will work on the PlannerPal backend andwhere required take a technical lead role in the setup deploymentand hardening of infrastructure on AWS to bring a high qualityexperience to every user. We want a capable developer who cansupport team members across a variety of features technical issuesand services.

• Lead on the design anddelivery of significant parts of the PlannerPal featureset
• Integrate withthird partyservices
• Makeeffective use of AWS components to minimise code and integrationefforts and maintain a highly available and failover protectedapp
• Contribute tobuilding quality CI/CD pipelines to deploy and testapplications
• Occasionallycode and test the frontend web pages consuming the apis you havebuilt
• Setup coderepositories and a path from dev tolive
• Automatetesting whereverpossible
• Check andchallenge designapproaches
• Recommendtools and frameworks to make development quicker and easier forothers to pick up

For context thetechnology estate consists of a Flutter app and Nuxt web app thatinteracts with a back end which in turn talks to amongo database and other AWS hosted services (S3 Cognito SES). Thecurrent development team consists of one mobile (flutter) developerone front end (Nuxt) developer and one backend node engineer. Weare also in the process of hiring an AI Engineer.

This role reports into the ChiefProduct and TechnologyOfficer.

Requirements

Musthaves:

• Degree in ComputerScience or related Information Technology / Developereducation
• 13 Yearsbackend development experience in Node Experience of creating RESTAPIs cron jobs andwebsockets
• Someexperience in front enddevelopment
• Deployingusing and managing core AWS technologies including Cognito SES EC2IAM andCloudwatch
• Experienceof scaling and hardening the applications you havebuilt.
• Provensolution design skills to be able to turn business requirementsinto deliverabletechnology
• Abilityto be in London one day a week where we meet as ateam

Desirable:

• Priorexperience of
• Priorexperience of of front end web development using Nuxt
• Ability tosetup and run CI/CDpipelines
• Unit andwidget testingexperience
• Use ofJIRA and Confluence for planning andworking
• ScrumbasedAgile techniques when it comes to planning and taskbreakdown
