Customer Engagement Delivery Partner.

Location - London -Manchester - Nottingham - Hybrid working model.

Role.


The Customer Engagement Delivery Partner is accountable for leading on and ensuring consistent and relevant messaging is delivered to customers via external committees, forums and other interactive customer engagement channels.


What will you be doing?

  • Attend and/or facilitate customer committees & forums, acting as the DCC lead representative and managing the endtoend forum lifecycle from a DCC perspective.
  • Work with wider DCC teams to constructively challenge existing processes and way of working. Identify improved methods of engagement and utilisation of channels to improve DCC performance with DCC customers.
  • Capture and evaluate customer insight, including actions, from external meetings, ensuring this is disseminated to appropriate internal stakeholders to inform future engagement activity.
  • Prepare briefings, hold premeetings where needed and ensure papers are submitted in advance and on time.
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with both internal and key external customer representatives to ensure greater visibility and input from stakeholders into DCC's decision making.
  • Generate confidence in (Customer representatives, Members from SEC subcommittees and SEC Panel, SEC Secretariat (SECAS), SEC Independent Chairs, EUK, etc.)

What we are looking for.

  • Customer relationship management / account management experience well versed in developing key working relationships with external stakeholders and / or customers.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to communicate confidently and effectively with customers and internal stakeholders, especially when delivering difficult messages.
  • An active listener who is insightful.
  • A strategic thinker. Able to transpose DCC's strategy and complex messages, bring to life and coordinate messages, and build an aligned engagement plan to promote collaboration and support.
  • Excellent influencing skills. Able to create a collaborative environment (with internal and external stakeholders) and influence how stakeholders work together. Adept at working with and gaining buyin at all levels of the organisation, including the Executive Committee.
  • Strong document writing skills: able to understand and interpret complex messages and transpose them into quality papers and/ or presentations for our customers and stakeholders.

Experience Desirable.

  • Experience of working with Government and Industry Regulators and / or in complex governance environments.
