Support Engineer

Redhill

Up to £45,000 basic salary

Our partner is widely recognised as a world leader in the provision of specialist camera systems as well as aerial filming in the UK and around the world.

They are looking for a technically minded electrical engineer to join their team and continue delivering quality service to their partners.

The role will see you maintaining, configuring, and manufacturing the equipment to ensure it is in full working orderbefore heading to site.

What to expect:

Electrical and broadcast video wiring and termination
Electromechanical assembly and service
Basic electronics repair
Fibre Optic maintenance and inspection
Prototyping and modification of steel and aluminium
Supervised repair of inhouse built products and thirdparty devices
Assist in equipment preparation for SMARThead operations

Who are we looking for?:

Demonstrable electrical and electromechanical experience and skill set
Basic electronics knowledge with experience in repair and understanding schematics
A technical support background in Broadcast, Live Production or Theatre an advantage
A knowledge or proficiency in any of the following: CAD, Embedded coding or motion control would be an asset but not essential.
Practical experience and evolved knowledge are preferred over specific formal qualifications
Electrical Knowledge

Telecoms Experience
Communications experience
