    We are looking to appoint an exceptional professional who will join a highly successful, enthusiastic and talented Expressive Arts team and work with us to inspire our students. The role will involve teaching Drama from KS3 to KS5, including AQA GCSE and Level 3 BTEC Acting. The role would be suitable for an ECT or experienced teacher.

Drama is a popular choice at KS4 and KS5 and our results are impressive. Our curriculum is enriched with regular performance opportunities and over 60 students are currently involved in the whole school Production of Mary Poppins. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious professional, with a genuine love of the study and teaching of Drama.

    Debden Park High School is a heavily oversubscribed, fully-staffed Academy that Ofsted judged to be Outstanding in January 2017. Our Sixth Form opened in September 2015 and moved into its own purpose-built building in September 2016. The Sixth Form currently has 184 students in it and is growing year on year. The successful candidate will look to develop both the KS4 and KS5 provision of Technology at the school.

    We are part of a family of schools within the Kemnal Academies Trust. Every week staff take part in 2 hours of Debden Minds which is a bespoke CPD programme focusing primarily on the development of teaching & learning. We provide exceptional career progression for staff, which leads to our Middle and Senior Leadership teams being composed of many teachers who began their career with us. We lead the Essex hub of the TKAT SCITT.
