    Description

    We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our fast growing Global Expansion Advisory (GEA) team as an International Consultant.

    We have a particular focus on the international tech sector and advise some of the most exciting and fastest growing companies in the world, as well as a number of dynamic entrepreneurs and thriving private businesses. We therefore need people with engaging personalities as well as great skills.

    The successful candidates will work alongside senior members of staff to help clients expand their operations into new global territories and manage compliance requirements. No two days will be the same as you assist in the project management and delivery of international set ups and maintaining compliance requirements across various service lines (incorporation & company secretarial, accounting, tax, payroll & HR) in a fast-paced environment where good communication skills are essential.

    As a member of the GEA team you will look to develop contacts and relationships with our international offices and Local Service Providers (LSPs) to facilitate faster response times and standardised approaches to work. You will receive on the job training and will be provided with the opportunity to learn about new territories to develop in-country knowledge and cultural communications / awareness.

    Key Accountabilities

  • meetings/calls with prospective/existing clients to discuss their international expansion requirements and answer queries.
  • international multi-territory proposal documents.
  • Letters of Engagement and KYC documentation.
  • manage in-country set up processes for clients as they expand globally. To include liaison with all parties (client, LSPs, other ZEDRA teams/offices etc.).
  • project plans and checklists.
  • the setup of the ZEDRA online task tracking portal for your portfolio of clients.
  • a portfolio of clients by working with LSPs to ensure all core compliance filings (VAT returns, financial statements, tax returns etc.) are completed in advance of the associated filing deadline. This will include liaising with the ZEDRA International Financial Outsourcing team and clients directly, ensuring all data is received within the specified timeframe.
  • review and update international compliance calendars outlining statutory filings and deadlines.
  • work progress against agreed compliance timetables.
  • LSP fee invoices, reviewing to ensure they are in line with agreed costs.
  • with maintaining and monitoring existing LSP relationships and identifying additional international service providers in existing or new territories, as required.
  • meetings/calls with LSPs in new territories to understand in-country requirements.
  • Relevant Experience

  • global expansion project management experience
  • collaborating on group projects, participating in team-based activities, or working in diverse teams would be advantageous.
  • in customer service roles, with the ability to engage with customers effectively and provide satisfactory solutions to needs or concerns
  • in roles with troubleshooting and providing solutions
  • Educational and Professional Qualification

  • Finance or Business related studies / education
