Due to the expansion of our regional marketing and communications team, we are recruiting an experienced graphic designer.

You will be responsible for leading the creative process of developing and preparing high quality collateral, and championing our brand and best practice across the region to support internal communications and external marketing activities across the UK and Europe.

You will be a creative visual designer working with a wide range of different formats: documents, figures, infographics, organisation structures, and other visual elements of electronic and paper-based literature.

We want you to be able to translate ideas into effective collateral that can be readily understood by our various audiences.

It is an exciting time for the EUNA region and graphic design professionals within it due to the ambitious growth of both, providing much opportunity for personal and career development in this role.

What you will contribute to the team;

  • Supporting key regional areas such as, but not limited to marketing, business development, internal communication, sustainability and excellence by developing ideas and collateral to resolve their marketing and communications needs for a wide range of audiences (internal and external)
  • Working as an integral part of the marketing and communications team, contributing ideas and collaborating with the team to develop high quality solutions
  • Identifying and sharing graphic design best practice to ensure quality and consistency and enhance the production of online and offline collateral across the region and the business
  • Building a support network with the region's existing graphic designers to encourage sharing of ideas, knowledge and skills
  • Ensuring feedback on graphics is understood and implemented for continual improvement
  • Complying with group systems and the quality, environmental and safety system
  • Championing and acting credibly in accordance with the organisation's values
Required for the position of Graphic Designer;

  • Excellent working knowledge of creative/graphic design software, including InDesign,Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Excellent working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word,PowerPoint, and Acrobat
  • Producing online/offline collateral with attention to detail
  • Collaborative, proactive and engaging approach, particularly with creative and senior teams
  • Working independently and as part of a different team in a support role (including virtual teams)
  • Effective time management and prioritising responsibilities while working under pressure
Preferred, but not required

  • Desirable academic, professional qualifications and experience:
  • Experience of video production and using Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects
  • Good knowledge of collaboration systems, e.g. SharePoint
  • Experience of accessible design and processes
  • Knowledge and experience of web design or development
  • Foundation degree, HND or degree in a creative, graphic design, art or designbased area
  • A flexible approach to work which may involve flexible working hours and locations across the UK
  • Appreciation of the engineering and consultancy industries is advantageous
