    About the role

    University College London (UCL) wishes to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching) – Project / Management of the Built Environment. The post holder will be based at The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, a world-leading faculty ranked #1 in the world for Built Environment studies and #1 in the UK for its research environment. The post holder will carry out teaching within the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction consistent with the vision and mission of the School in the areas of Management and Project Management of the Built Environment, which may include a range of topics in the following subject areas: project management, construction management, and enterprise management, including the history or business history of any or all of these. The post holder will also be required to contribute towards provision of an engaging and practice-informed learning environment.

    About you

    The successful applicant will be expected to prepare and deliver appropriate teaching material, including regular tutorials and seminars, as part of the delivery of the relevant module requirements. You will be expected to Lead or Co-Lead management focused modules across our PGT or UG programmes, to participate in departmental and faculty events, and build collaborations across UCL, and to engage in continuing professional development. You are required to have a higher degree or PhD in management, or project/construction/enterprise management and/or closely related discipline, and excellent knowledge of management of the built environment. You will also have established track record of teaching at PGT and undergraduate level including the design and management of modules in higher education, preparation of course guides, lecture and seminars, setting of assessments and development of interdisciplinary teaching material.
