The Role
The holder of this role will deliver comprehensive support to the Site FD (supported by the Factory Accountant and Assistant Accountant) assisting them to further grow and develop the Hull site through design and maintenance of a robust financial control environment and timely reporting and analysis of operational reporting including departmental yield and labour reporting.
Key to the success of this role will be the provision of accurate and timely management information upon which the site management team and key stakeholders can act to maximise the growth opportunities that exist within the business.
Involvement in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of all related reporting cycles will be a key priority to deliver the objectives.

Support site finance director in weekly and monthly group reporting requirements, incl. oversight of certain elements of site balance sheet and ongoing review of cost and revenue drivers
Support the finance team with production and interrogation of departmental management information (daily/weekly reporting of site financial and operational KPIs, departmental yield and labour reports) in support of weekly site management and SOFINA Group management reviews
Further development of the management reporting process to align departmental targets with site financial targets/objectives through all tiers of operations
Continuous improvement of finance and operational reporting cycles
Skills and Experience Required
Experience of business accounts / purchase ledger
Good educational background
Ideally you will have an understanding of FMCG industry but this isn't essential
Experience of successfully managing tasks/projects to completion
Computer Literate with strong excel and analytical skills
Determined and resilient, with the drive to complete tasks and improve processes
Reliable, conscientious, self-motivated and professional
Effective planning and organisation skills and excellent team workings skills
Effective communication - written, verbal and non-verbal
Effective problem solving skills and ability to influence solutions
