Role OverviewThe Commercial Financial Controller (CFC) is key to the successful delivery of Genius' commercial strategy.
Working very closely with the Sales and Marketing team as their trusted business partner, the CFC will support the Sales & Marketing Director in all aspects of commercial decision making, financial reporting, financial control, joint business planning, budgeting,and forecasting.
The CFC is responsible for the production of accurate financial & management information and helping drive financial performance through in-depth analysis.
The CFC will report to the Finance Director, with a dotted line to the Sales & Marketing Director and be expected to attend weekly Executive meetings to provide updates on performance and any relevant ad hoc projects.
The CFC is a key role within the Finance Department, and is responsible for leading the annual budget process, the quarterly forecast process, and the management accounting month end, ensuring other Finance teams are aware of requirements and that work is deliveredon time.
Package On OfferThe CFC role is based in Edinburgh city centre with excellent hybrid working. The role will also offer a highly competitive salary & benefits package.
- A qualified Accountant
- ACCA/ICAS/ICAEW/CIMA
- Strong FP&A/commercial finance exposure
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced user of Excel
- Supervisory and/or people management experience
- ERP experience such as SAP would be advantageous but not essential
