As a member of Launchpad you will acquire a comprehensive understanding of the system's components and interactions, and as a lead there is particular focus on identifying areas for improvement and driving strategic improvements to drive our technical capabilities forwards. We are a team of problem solvers and keen roboticists who enjoy looking at the big picture and tackling challenges, and we are devoted to perfecting our software both in the real and the virtual worlds to deliver the best possible version of our vision for Universal AutonomyTM.

    • Engaging with other teams to ensure correct prioritisation of new features and timely issue resolution.
    • Supporting the Integration Lead in the team with technical expertise and domain knowledge of the applications of an autonomy product.
    • Lead a cross-functional team in the field to:
      • Operate, test, and debug our autonomy system end-to-end to ensure functionality is at a customer-ready level.
      • Identify key product requirements for the customer workflows, and design testing scenarios that stress our system.
      • Assess software performance, leveraging cloud-based simulation tools to scale our testing.
      • Test cutting-edge code, and prepare base software versions for customers.
      • Investigate and analyse data to enable issues to be identified and resolved.
      • Drive strategic improvements to advance technical capabilities and product quality.
      • Maintain high agility to resolve issues at short notice.

    Requirements

    • Experience working with autonomous vehicles, ADAS or similar complex robotics systems.
    • Experience managing a team of engineers doing product development or delivering an engineering service
    • Track record of fostering cross-functional collaboration between engineering, commercial, marketing, sales and other departments
