    Description

    SRG are delighted to be working with a revolutionary biotechnology organisation based in Grangemouth who are working at the forefront of renewable and sustainable fuel sources.

    The company have recently opened up a new site and are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance technician with a split between mechanical and electrical to join them on their exciting journey of growth.

    This role is perfect for a multi-skilled technician who is looking to make the next step in their career and secure a role in a rapidly growing industry.

    The role

    This role plays a key part in the organisation's manufacturing team, you will work with the maintenance lead on carrying out planned preventative maintenance, inspections and servicing, you will also be responsible for management of the stores, and ensuring all relevant documentation is kept up to date.

    You will also be responsible for carrying out any required reactive maintenance and ensuring the manufacturing plant down time is kept to a minimal.

    This role will operate on a week by week rotating shift pattern between day shift and back shift , and will require some flexibility for on-call working.

    The person

    • Prior demonstrable in a multi-skilled engineer/technician position
    • Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting skills
    • Practical hands-on experience of some/all of the following: pumps, heat exchangers, valves, agitators, conveyors, pressure systems (steam, compressed air, nitrogen), distillation columns, instrumentation such as flow, level, pressure, temperature, etc.
    • Within commutable distance of Grangemouth, or open to relocation
