Description
A leading scientific instrumentation manufacturer are offering an exceptional opportunity for a Physicist to become part of their dynamic R&D team, designing and developing state-of-the-art mass spectrometers.
This role is offered on a full time, permanent contract and will be based at our client's facility in Manchester, with some flexible working options.
- Hold a MSc or PhD or equivalent in Physics or Chemistry (or related)
- Have a background in design and development of complex analytical equipment (MALDI, TOF, ion optics, electron microscopes, high vacuum systems)
- Knowledge of design tools (SIMION, CPO, COMSOL etc.)
- Basic coding (Python, MATLAB etc.) is desirable.
- Experience in an ISO environment would be beneficial
