- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client's functional abilities and limitations.
- Recommend appropriate equipment and adaptations to improve client's independence and quality of life.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop personalised care plans.
- Provide guidance and support to clients and their caregivers on the safe and effective use of recommended equipment.
- Complete manual handling assessments in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, recommendations, and interventions.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in occupational therapy.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a local authority setting.
- Strong knowledge of community-based care services and resources.
- Competency in conducting manual handling assessments.
- Valid driver's license and access to own transportation.
