Description

The role:


  • Manage the Site Operations Team including Contracts Management, Administration & Site Management
  • P&L responsibility for site service procurement
  • Manage departmental overhead budget
  • Manage contractual risks
  • Ensure effective and efficient use of departmental resources to meet contractual obligations, budget requirements and strategic objectives
  • Responsible for the overall management of Health & Safety on project sites & ensuring the company always meets its statutory obligations
  • Build on existing procurement, contract management, progress monitoring & handover protocols to achieve best practice
  • Support team members at precontract & site progress meetings
  • Review, adapt & continuously improve departmental processes using KPI's & other reporting tools
  • Encourage & support employee development
  • Prepare monthly reports for the Board outlining departmental performance including project status and management of identified risks
  • Other duties as directed from time to time
  • Work with Architects, Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers, External Advisors
  • Minimum 10 years' experience managing contracts / site operations teams, ideally in the fenestration industry
  • CSCS Card Holder
  • IOSH qualified (preferred but not essential)
  • SMSTS qualified (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations & the Health & Safety at Work Act
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strategic thinker, problem solver & innovator
  • Able to inspire, motivate and create a high performance team
